Application and Usage: In the pharmaceutical industry, Crospovidone is widely used as
1)Disintergrating agent,
2)Stabilizer for suspension,
3)Moisture Absorbent,
4)Complextant of Polyphenols and Tannin for the extract formulations.

Appearance and Characteristics:  White or yellowish-white powder or flakes

Main Properties:  Crospovidone is hygroscopic and insoluble in water and all other common solvents, but it swells rapidly in an aqueous solution without any gel forms. It is classified as Crospovidone Type A and Type B according to the different particle sizes.

Product Standards: Compliant with USP/NF, EP, JP, and BP standards.

Food Grade 

Properties:  PVPP is hygroscopic and insoluble in water and all other common solvents, but it swells rapidly in an aqueous solution without any gel forms.

Applications and Uses of PVPP:

  • Thanks to its insoluble properties in water and other common solvents, PVPP is widely used as a stabilizer & clarifier for Beer/Wine and other beverage products, it can remove polyphenols and tannins substances during the Beer/Wine/Beverage processing.
  • PVPP has very excellent properties due to its high swelling pressure, high activity, significant hydration capacity, and other comprehensive properties.
  • Recommended dosage: 2%-5%.

Product Standards (E1202/FCC): PVPP(One way) and PVPP(Regeneration)

 

Product Packing and Storage:

  • 25kg carton boxes, lined with PE packaging bags
  • Special packaging can be provided according to customer requirements
  • Store in a cool place, away from light and in a well-ventilated area
