Ascend Materials
Ascend Materials has its headquarters in Shanghai, China, with collaborating factories located in Anhui and Fujian provinces. Covering a total area of 25,000 square meters, we specialize in the research, development, production, and sales of high-precision polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) series products. These products are extensively used in various sectors such as pharmaceuticals, health supplements, beer and wine, and personal care.
Ascend Materials has an annual production capacity of nearly 3,000 tons, offering a range of products that includes homopolymers (PVP-K), copolymers (PVP-A), cross-linked polymers (PVP-P), complexes (PVP-I), and hollow glass microspheres. The quality of our products complies with the requirements of the latest editions of pharmacopoeias in China, the United States, and Europe.
Production Processes and Equipment
Ascend Materials is equipped with advanced machinery and a strong technical force. We possess our own research and development laboratory and a technical team, and we maintain a good cooperative relationship with several domestic scientific and technological institutions throughout the year. This provides strong support for the development of new products and the improvement of existing product processes.
Ascend Materials owns four sets of GMP-compliant production facilities with an annual output of 600 tons for low molecular weight polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP K12, K15, K17, K25, K30), 800 tons for high molecular weight polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP K60, K90, K120), 300 tons for high-stability polyvinylpyrrolidone iodine, and 800 tons for high-purity N-vinylpyrrolidone (NVP) and N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP). We have advantages in terms of process, quality, and output within the industry.
